Currently in Zhuhai, China on a business trip. Zhuhai is located between Hong Kong (1hr ferry ride) and Macau (10mins driving). They got some crazy Muslim-Chinese food here and they know how to make tasty breads. However we took it further by dumping bunch of meats, onions, and whatever we can find on it, making it a Muslim-Chinese-American style pizza!

PS: I missed my Carne Asada burrito!

Stop Using IE6!

It seems there are still quite a number of people still using IE6..*sigh*. If you are still using IE6 (Internet Explorer), I would recommend you to upgrade as soon as possible. Heck…even Microsoft themselves are trying to persuade people to upgrade to the latest IE. Unfortunately, I myself is not a big fan of IE browsers, whenever I see my friends who are still using it will conduct my truthful convincing skill to convince them to convert to another browser like Chrome or Firefox…haha

Drinking water is important but...

Most of us probably know that we must drink lots of water each day. Unfortunately, according to the commentary published online in the British Medical Journal said that’s not entirely true. Experts said that drinking too much water can cause hypothermia (low sodium levels in the blood) and expose people to pollutants. I’m no expert in this field but I’m thinking this might be true in some sense. If you think for a second, an example: taking vitamins are good for your health, but taking too many at one time might kill you. That might be the same with everything else, taking too much of what you should taking might eventually hurt your body. However, the public health has been campaigning to push people to feel guilty for not drinking enough water. An article by the Mayo Clinic said that it depends on your exercise level, health conditions, the heat, and the humidity of the your environment. In general, the Institute of Medicine recommends about nine cups of beverages for women and thirteen cups for men.

The Mayo Clinic offers another way to assess if you are getting enough H2O: If you drink enough fluid so that you are rarely feel thirsty and produce 1.5 liters (6.3 cups) or more of the colorless or slightly yellow urine a day, your fluid intake is probably adequate.

The experts also said that the issue of too much water surfaces among athletes, especially the marathon runners. Hypothermia is a real concern when replacing the water lost during sweating, too much water, and the salt imbalance in the body can cause the cells to swell with water, that is particularly dangerous for our brain cells. In order to avoid this if you are playing any demanding sports, drink fluids that contain electrolytes. Drinking only water during the events can lead to acute hypothermia. Another interesting fact is water chugging competition can be deadly. One woman who drank 6 liters of water in three hours for a radio show died from hypothermia. Ouch…

The Truth of Human Body... → cracked.com

This is a really good article, a lot of things we were taught way back in our kindergarten class are mostly misinformed by our teachers. I guess being skinny is not that we have much higher metabolism than the obese people, in actual fact they have higher metabolism than us. Being a righty or lefty has not significant difference between them in terms of if you are lefty, you are more likely artistic…

Fear

Fear is the most valuable commodity in the universe.

Turn on the television or any websites, what do you see? People selling their products? No. People selling the fear of you having to live without their products. Fear of aging, fear of loneliness, fear of poverty, fear of failure. Fear is the most basic emotion we have. Fear is primal. Fear sells.

Godville game

I came across a game while surfing the net and founded this game, Godville. This is not your typical role-playing game you take control of a hero. In this game your hero takes its own path and move on its own.  He will decide for itself and occasionally he will pray to you where you will receive godpower that you can use to send down voice to your hero.  The best thing about this game is the quotes you get to read from the hero’s dairy, they are quite hilarious. I will occasionally pop in and check on my guy, read some of his funny quotes then move on.  An rpg game that plays by itself…haha
